KUU LIGHT AND DRIP P-TEX STICKS
P-tex is the abbreviated name for Polyethylene. Snowboards and skis use Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) It’s the same material used to make bullet proof jackets as well as hip and knee replacements. The main reason for its choice for skis and snowboards is it’s low moisture absorption, very low coefficient of friction and being resistant to abrasion. However accident do happen and you will get gouges and holes from rocks especially skiing in New Zealand.
X-TEN COLLECTIVE STAFF COMMENT
Simply light and drip over gouges, not suitable for larger holes, especially down to the core material. Make sure the base is dry and clean. Once cool and solid scrape with sharp metal scraper.
